Jodie Noel Vinson is a qualified and committed writer, editor, and teacher with experience in education, management, content creation, and sales.


With five years' experience in the travel industry, including work as Marketing Content Writer at TCS World Travel, Jodie has written about trips and destinations around the world, from the ice shelves of Antarctica to the cosmopolitan capitals of Europe.

Jodie has ten years of experience in the book and publishing industries, including work at independent bookstores in Seattle, Minneapolis, and Boston, where she cultivated a literary expertise that ranges from Marcel Proust to J. Maarten Troost. As Managing Editor of Longitude Books, Jodie reviewed and recommended travel books to travelers and tour companies such as National Geographic Expeditions and Smithsonian Journeys, becoming an authoritative voice on what to read in destinations around the world.

With a BA in English Education and an MFA in non-fiction creative writing, Jodie has experience teaching high school and adult literature and creative writing. She has taught writing at Seattle's Hugo House, the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis, and at the Boston Public Library's Writing Workshops.
